Gemeprost-autocoids drug and its therapeutic use

                                  
INTRODUCTION
It is used for preoperative dilation of the cervix before surgical abortion.

 THERAPEUTIC USES
* Used in the treatment of obstetric bleeding.
* Used with Mifepristone to terminate Pregnancy upto 24 weaks of gestation.

 SIDE EFFECT
* Vaginal bleeding
* Cramps
* Muscle weaknes
* Flushing
* Uterine rupture
* Severe hypotension
