Mechanism of action of Ibutilide-
Ibutilide's unique mechanism works by an activation of a specific
inward sodium current, thus producing its therapeutic response in which a
prolonged actionpotential
increases myocytes' cardiac refractoriness in case of atrial fibrillation and
flutter.
