Introduction:  ETORICOXIB is a selective COX-2 inhibitor from Merck & Co. Currently it is approved in more than 80 countries world wide but not in the US,where FOOD AND DRUG ADMINSTRATION (FDA) has required addition safety and efficacy data for etoricoxib before it is issued approval.

Therapeutic Indication ;  It is indicated for the treatment of
                                                                1. Rheumatoid arthritis
                                                                2.Psoriatic arthritis
                                                                3.Osteoarthritis
                                                                4. Ankylosing spondylitis
                                                                5. Chronic low back pain
